We would like to offer a sincere thank you for everyone who was praying for us during our General Chapter. We truly experienced the presence of the Holy Spirit as we prayed, met, discussed and made decisions regarding our way of life.
Ever since the early Church gathered for the "Council of Jerusalem" (see Acts 15) the history of Christianity is filled with such moments of grace. Saint Francis and the early friars would often gather during the time of Pentecost, and so the tradition continues in our own day.
"How good and how pleasant it is,
when brothers dwell together as one!
Like fine oil on the head,
running down upon the beard,
Upon the beard of Aaron,
upon the collar of his robe.
Like the dew of Hermon coming down
upon the mountains of Zion.
There the LORD has decreed a blessing,
life for evermore!" Psalm 133
